OBJECTIVES: To correctly label a color wheel and understand the color combinations.
PROCEDURES: You can find the color wheel HERE. Instructions are on the color wheel file.
TURN IN: In Schoology, color wheel, color combinations of warm, cool, complementary colors, analogous colors, primary, secondary and 1 monochromatic scheme. Include what each color combination is, a description & a photograph that demonstrates that color scheme.
OBJECTIVES: To use: warm, cool, complementary, monochromatic, and primary/secondary color theory in your photographs.
PROCEDURES: You can use your camera in LIGHTROOM MOBILE IN PRO MODE (you need to shoot DNG) or a DSLR camera. SHOOT as MANY PHOTOS AS YOU NEED. You are required to SUBMIT 30 IMAGES. Remember set your White Balance to AWB and your ISO to 400. You can raise your ISO up to 800 if your available light is not that strong. You can lower your ISO if you have a lot of available light. Change your shutter speed (SECS) to capture the correct exposure. Make sure your shutter speed does not go lower than 1/60.
Take a VARIETY of photographs that illustrate: warm colors, cool colors, complimentary colors, monochromatic, analogous and primary/secondary color.
DO NOT take pictures of paintings, material prints, or other art work.
NO PHOTOS AT NIGHT!
NO PHOTOS INDOOR!!!
Like all assignments, these need to be new pictures taken for this assignment.
TURN IN: TURN IN 30 IMAGES. 5 IMAGES OF EACH... 1. WARM COLORS 2. COOL. COLORS 3. COMPLIMENTARY COLORS 4. MONOCHROMATIC (NOT BLACK AND WHITE) 5. PRIMARY/SECONDARY COLOR 6. ANALOGOUS COLORS.
** DON'T FORGET TO TURN IN THE SCREEN SHOT SHOWING ALL 30 PHOTOS WITH DATE/TIME AND FILE NAME TO SCHOOLOGY BY THE DUE DATE!**
REMEMBER BLACK, WHITE, GRAY & BROWN ARE NTO COLORS, THEY ARE NEUTRALS.
EDIT 12 IMAGES IN LIGHTROOM CLASSIC. YOU MUST INCLUDE ONE EXAMPLE FROM EACH OF THE ABOVE MENTIONED COLOR COMBINATIONS
UPLOAD ALL 12 EDITED IMAGES AS A GALLERY IN YOUR WEBSITE.
WRITE A CAPTION FOR EACH PHOTO STATING WHAT COLOR GROUP YOU USED.
SELECT YOUR BEST 5 images to your website: One example of warm, cool, complimentary, monochromatic, and primary or secondary color.
UPLOAD THES 5 PHOTOS ARE YOUR FINAL FIVE AS A SLIDE SHOW.
